Flokk promote sustainability in collaboration with Norway in a Box

China is a land, rich in cultural heritage. It also has a deep history in trade, with the famous Silk Road pioneered by Chinese envoys bringing in produce, customs and values from around the world.

Continuing this tradition, Flokk recently co-hosted ‘Table of Norway’, an event held at the Sun & AQUA restaurant in Shanghai, not only sharing traditional foods from Norway but to promote sustainable production methods and innovative ways to work with nature. Guests from a range of industries were invited to enjoy a range of Norwegian produce, expertly prepared by the Japanese restaurant, whilst seated in Flokk chairs.

As a company deeply committed to continually reducing our environmental impact, Flokk was a natural partner for the event, providing a range of sustainable seating by Flokk brand RBM to complete the intimate dinner setting. Made using a range of recycled and recyclable materials, the RBM Noor is constantly evolving, featuring the latest sustainability measures implemented by Flokk to make it increasingly more environmentally friendly. 

The event was held in collaboration with Norway in a Box, an innovative brand based in Stavanger with an outlet in China, inspired by their families fishing heritage and traditional Norwegian values.  Working with a range of like-minded businesses, they offer a range of high-quality Norwegian produce, with a keen focus on fresh foods and culinary treats.
