Designed by Andreas Engesvik
The development of HÅG Minu has been a close collaboration between Andreas Engesvik and Flokk Design. Together, the team has shaped a concept that balances residential appeal with ergonomic function.
“Our first focus was to visually connect the chair to the domestic sphere. That is why the seat and backrest have fully upholstered textile surfaces, and there are no visible plastic parts except for the wheels. The base, made of die-cast aluminium, forms a small sculpture that holds everything up,” explains Engesvik, continuing.
“When designing a chair for HÅG, you are standing on the shoulders of Peter Opsvik, who has been groundbreaking not only in Norway but internationally. There is a sense of reverence in that.”
