Colour is one of the most direct ways a space communicates. It sets mood before anyone reads a brief or sits down at a desk. The Curated Selection palette draws on that directly: warmer, more expressive tones for spaces built around interaction, quieter and more restrained tones for spaces built around concentration, and everything in between. Nothing in the selection is arbitrary. Each colour was chosen for how it behaves next to the others, not just how it looks on its own.
From that palette, we've grouped colours into three loose clusters: Focus, Collaborate and Connect. It's less a rule than a suggestion, a starting point for anyone specifying a space with a particular mood or use in mind. The grouping follows how people actually behave in a workplace: Focus spaces support individual concentration, Collaborate spaces support shared problem-solving, and Connect spaces support the informal moments that build a sense of belonging. Getting the colour right in each has a real effect on how comfortable and effective people feel in the space.
"Colour theory gives us a strong starting point for thinking about different types of workspace. Some tones are naturally better at supporting calm and concentration, while others bring more warmth or energy. That's what shaped the grouping around Focus, Collaborate and Connect." — Pernille Jensen Stoltze, Textile Designer, Flokk Design
Within each cluster, there are two expressions to choose from. A Dynamic palette leans into contrast and energy. A Refined palette is quieter and more tone-on-tone. Focus Refined, for instance, pairs blue and grey with natural materials like wood and stone, a calm, grounded base for sustained attention. Connect Dynamic does the opposite: warm tones and brighter accents, built for spaces where informal conversation is the point.
For designers, dealers and project teams, that means a smaller, more confident starting point. The Curated Selection doesn't lock a project into one scheme. It gives a set of colours already proven to work together, so a calm space and a more expressive one can both be built from the same palette without ever feeling arbitrary.
