The recently opened Flokk showroom in Warsaw has received a Gold award from the Grands Prix Du Design competition, booking its place in the grand final to take place later this year, with the chance to win the overall prize.
The highly prestigious award, now in its 14th year, celebrates and rewards the work of designers and architects who improve our quality of life and the built environment and is chaired by a jury of experienced designers, architects, professors, entrepreneurs, journalists, and publishers recruited across the world.
About the showroom
Designed in collaboration with architects from the mode:lina™ studio, the new and first Flokk showroom in Poland combines a maximally functional interior with a space where the quality and unique designs of the Flokk brands can be seen at first glance. The well-lit, industrial premises have become a minimalistic space that provides an optimum background for the products on display, where the leading role is played by a spectacular central installation comprising more than a hundred chairs. The colourful mosaic was created by using about 130 chair backs from the RBM Noor series, which circulate the central part of the ground floor, hiding all the technical rooms behind their walls.
Speaking about the showroom, Magdalena Borowiec, who is responsible for marketing and communication in the CEE region says; "I am very proud that our Warsaw showroom has been nominated for such a prestigious award. Our goal was to create a vibrant place full of pastel colors, organic shapes with well-thought zoning so we can work, we can organize workshops and events for our clients and product presentation as well. This place speaks itself!"
GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 14th edition
The Grand Prize Winners of the 14th edition will be announced during two Gala hybrid events (part live, part online), held this year in Canada. The interior design categories will be announced during the second Gala, to be held in Montreal on the 20th October 2021.
