In autumn 2020, Flokk relocated their Denmark showroom to Kongens Lyngby, in the Northern Suburbs of Copenhagen, on the shore of the Mølleåen, a gentle river that flows into the nearby Lyngby Lake. A former mission house, the beautiful building which houses the new showroom has been lovingly renovated and restored with respect to its original design, including copper gutters, cast iron fencing, and plastered facades. The interior has also received a makeover, now featuring “New Yorker” partitions, slatted walls in wood, and exposed beams to continue the building's heritage and authenticity.
It is with this backdrop that Flokk presents a unique “house of brands” experience for visitors, showcasing the depth of designs available from each of the brands of Flokk, in a versatile range of settings and configurations. The entire house tells a consistent workplace story, offering an authentic experience of our products in real user situations, from reception areas to private workspaces, conference suites, and casual social areas.
In fact, the spaces presented are so practical that staff at the showroom are able to use them throughout the day, and visitors are also able to book meeting rooms for their own meetings, or drop in for a few hours remote work in the more casual areas.
Dorrit Hoffman Felding, Managing Director of Flokk Denmark says; “In our showroom, we want to tell a coherent story about the many opportunities that lie in the broad Flokk portfolio and the brands that we offer. The only external "non-Flokk" products used for our interior design are work tables, storage, and lighting. All other categories in the showroom are Flokk products, which we sell and market ourselves. It is, therefore, worth a visit for both architects and end-customers when they are looking for inspiration for their ongoing projects and interior design projects.”
Guests are free to visit the showroom at any time, but booking an appointment is the best way to ensure we are able to cater for all your needs.
